Great coffee, the guy who runs the place is a real all rounder, but his assistant can only make coffee and it's not too good and his customer skills aren't great, if he rolled his leaves up and washed his hands one in a while that would at least improve his hygiene slightly.

They use a local roaster and create inventive drinks. Also hosts, an open mic, poetry, art events and some concerts. Away from the main tourist area next door to Indian, pizza fish chips (the one the locals go to)take away spots.

Good coffee and good company! If you are in town on a Friday night, check out their open mic. If we were here a few more days, we would have loved to join their Tuesday knitting group. A lovely relaxed place to sit and enjoy a cup!

We went to this community cafe for a coffee after a recommendation from the bicycle shop (Bikes of Inverness, a few doors away). We took one look at the menu and decided to stop in for lunch. We had a vegan haggis toastie and a spinach muffin with salad. They were freshly prepared and, as you can see from the photo, they were very generous portions. Both excellent value. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cafe also runs a 'pay it forward' system so you can contribute to a fund which is used to benefit those in the local community. We will definitely go back here, and hopefully catch one of their open mic nights. We loved the ethos of the space, it is a true hidden gem.
